The Sierra 18-7210 Float can be used in place of the following engines: Mallory 9-36900, Evinrude/Johnson 382363, and GLM 77290. All Sierra products are equal to or better than the original equipment parts they are in replace. The carburetor float is a black hollow plastic needle mounted to the side of the carburetor and floating in the fuel inside the float-feed chamber. The floating regulates the amount of fuel that goes into the float chamber. The float declines together with the fuel level in the float chamber, causing the float needle to open and enter the float chamber.
