It collects intensely hot exhaust gases directly from the engine into an inner "pipe" or long chamber, cooled by raw water flowing through an outer casing. The MANIFOLD FITS PORT & STARBOARD (18-1953-2)is a top-quality manifold fit port and starboard and comes with complete gaskets and will fit both ports and starboard for Mercruiser engines. The internal coolant channels and the exterior finish are capped to prevent corrosion.
