The Spacer manufactured by SeaStar Solutions aids in the alignment of the prop to the shaft when the inner hub is unable to keep its shape, but only at the aft end of the prop. The Spacer bears reverse thrust stresses and prevents the internal hub from sliding aft with its vast surface area.
