This A-5 Poly-Glu is synthetic animal hide glue with higher than normal glue film strength specifically designed for setting up abrasive grain polishing applications in grit sizes of 150 and better. The application is simple, after removing the required amount of A-5 POLY-GLU from the plastic bag, melt it by soaking it in water in a heated jacketed glue pot. Users generally prefer to use according to discretion when determining the appropriate spreadable viscosity for a given application. The amount of water incorporated into the bucket determines the desired porosity. Several first users calculated this by mixing one part POLY-GLU with one part water and then adding or subtracting water until the desired viscosity.
