It is an essential kit to remove and install a gimbal ring. Using this access plug, you do not have to remove the engine & transom assembly. The templates are included in the packaging to help find the access holes. If the steering lever cavity is not accessible, it must be drilled in the gimbal housing. This procedure requires the following to access the steering pivot nut without removing the engine. There are two reasons to change the gimbal ring prevention and corrosion. The cracked or broken ones need to replace a new ones. To prevent the risk of steering failure there is a need to change the gimbal ring.
