These SLAM LATCH 2 T-HANDLE LOCKING (3-221972L) keep doors, panels, and other surfaces closed. The shutter rises and then springs down behind the panel wall as the frame opening is slammed shut, automatically locking the doors or panels. The closing or slamming of a door activates this latch, the spring within retracts the latch automatically. The latch is easy to install by simply inserting the latch body through a single round 2" cutout and screwing on the backplate.
