When both the inner and outer props need to be replaced, the new J series is designed to replace the A and B series. The unique blade shape and high propeller diameter of Volvo Penta Duoprop 21924265 J5 SET ensure maximum efficiency while operating quietly and smoothly. The propellers are stronger and more durable than standard die-cast propellers because of a specific high-strength aluminum alloy and squeeze casting method. Excellent corrosion protection is provided by four layers of paint. If your current props are heavily pitted, bent, or have worn bushings, it's time to replace them before they fail. Water could enter the lower gearcase through the drive shaft prop seals if the prop is bent.

A Series numbering is almost equivalent to J-Series numbering, i.e. A5 = J5.

Note: On the same drive, do not mix J-Series with the A or B series. Only utilize the same propeller type on both drives for twin applications.
