To replace damaged or worn components in your assemblies, use a 5/8" keyed shaft. There are stock TGP (ground and polished), 1044 stress-proof series, and 303-grade stainless steel components for those alternative needs. The keyed shaft was expertly machined to be symmetrical all the way around. There are certain variations between our 5/8-inch keyed shaft and others manufactured with industrial demands in mind. For your assembly, a 5/8" shaft with a keyway will work nicely, but be sure to check the depth and key-breadth ways specifically for it.
